Syrup
Rose Cordial
Rose cordial is a sweet floral syrup flavoured with rose petals or rose water—perfume-forward and meant for diluting into drinks and desserts. Stronger and sweeter than plain rose water; a cordial, not a cooking essence alone. Splash into lemonade, milk drinks, and syrups for cakes. Use sparingly—rose can taste soapy if overdone.
Also known as: Rose Syrup, Rose Sharbat
