Halved Fruit

Halved pawpaw is split lengthwise to expose seed rows and soft flesh for spooning or scooping. This is the natural serving form—like a passion fruit cup but larger and creamier. Seeds lift out easily with a spoon once the half is open. Serve immediately with a squeeze of citrus if desired, or empty halves into a bowl for batch puree. Cut surfaces brown and weep; they are not for long display. Use ripe fruit only—hard halves will not scoop cleanly.
