Whole Cluster

Whole Cluster

Whole-cluster grapes are sold or used as complete bunches without berry removal—the form winegrowers also mean when fermenting “whole cluster” with stems for structure, though kitchen use is usually about table presentation. Intact clusters hold humidity around berries better than loose packs during short storage. Ideal for centrepieces, kids’ snacks, and recipes that call for a bunch rather than a measured weight of berries. Inspect the interior of large clusters for hidden mould before serving.
