Trimmed Cluster

A trimmed grape cluster has excess stem, damaged berries, and straggly shoulders removed so the bunch is neat for retail display or plating. Packers and home cooks both trim to improve looks and reduce spoilage points. The edible yield is the same berries with less waste stem on the plate. Useful for gift fruit, cheese boards, and buffet service where appearance matters. Trim with clean scissors; do not wash until service. Keep chilled so the cut stem ends do not dry and brown.
