Refined

Refined candlenut oil is quieter and more stable than fragrant cold-pressed lots, used when mild fat behaviour matters more than seed perfume. Confirm food grade—historical lighting oils are a different story. Store sealed and cool; refinement is not immortality. Pure fat carries none of the thickening body of cooked paste.
