Cold Pressed

Cold-pressed candlenut oil captures more seed aroma for specialty culinary or traditional uses, distinct from historical lamp oil of poor quality. Buy dark bottles, keep cool, and finish soon after opening. Cloudiness can be normal; varnish smell is not. Prefer food- grade pressed oils over anonymous industrial lamp stock. Not a deep-fry commodity oil.
