Parkii is older botanical naming still seen on some shea labels, the same shea butter tree complex as Vitellaria paradoxa in modern usage. Kitchen identity is shea fat. A good parkii-labelled butter is genuine shea of clear grade. A bad jar is filler fat. Treat as shea butter for cooking or cosmetics per label. Check edible status before it hits a soup pot.
