Tulameen
A tier
Tulameen is a large-fruited floricane red raspberry from British Columbia breeding—long conical berries, bright colour, and a dessert flavour that made it a premium fresh-market name in cool climates. Texture is juicy with good size for hand picking displays. Canes need winter chill and careful management; it is not a primocane fall type. Peak eating out of hand and for shortcake or chocolate pairings where berry size impresses. Softens in heat and rain near harvest, so quality is highest from careful local growers. Avoid overripe dark berries that weep in clamshells.
