Fruit
Glen Ample
A tier
Glen Ample is a Scottish floricane raspberry from the Glen series—spine-free canes, large conical fruit, and high yields that made it a UK and European summer favourite. Berries are bright, aromatic, and sized for premium punnets when carefully picked. Spine-free growth eases hand harvest compared with bristly older cultivars. Ideal fresh with cream, in Eton mess, and for high-end bakery garnish. Soft rain near harvest can blow fruit quality; protected cropping improves consistency. Not a primocane—summer crop depends on overwintered canes.
