Peppermint Cordial

Syrup

Peppermint Cordial

A tier

Peppermint cordial is Mentha piperita in sugar syrup: menthol-bright, cooling, closer to a drinkable extract than to garden julep mint. A little goes far. It can taste of toothpaste if you overdose. Use it in hot chocolate or a candy-cane soda. Spearmint is kinder in a savoury-adjacent drink.
