Sussi is a cultivated lingonberry selection used in Nordic and specialist plantings—productive scarlet fruit on low evergreen growth with true tart flavour for preserves. Complements Koralle in cultivar trials for yield and berry size. Aimed at small-scale commercial and serious home growers. Acid soil, sun to part shade, and steady moisture without waterlogging. Process into classic lingon jam. Compare ripening with other named clones to stagger harvest. Mulch with pine litter where appropriate.
