Koralle is the leading cultivated lingonberry cultivar—compact ornamental-edible mats, reliable red berries, and garden performance far from Nordic forests. Flavour is classic tart lingon; yields suit home jam. Widely sold in European and North American nurseries. Plant in acidic soil with other ericaceous crops. Harvest autumn berries for jam and frozen stores. Birds may compete. Decorative enough for front-of-border edible design. Not as large-berried as cranberry.
