Syrup
Roselle Cordial
S tier
Roselle cordial is syrup from Hibiscus sabdariffa calyces: the proper sorrel/zobo/karkadé plant, cranberry-tart, floral, deep red. Caribbean and West African and Egyptian drinks start here. Dilute with water or rum. It stains. Tea-bag hibiscus makes a thinner cordial than whole dried calyces.
