Syrup
Deep Red Hibiscus Cordial
A tier
Deep red hibiscus cordial is a strong extraction: almost black-red, very tart, a few millilitres colour a litre. It can be astringent. Good for plating and for a punch that must stay red when diluted. A weak pink cordial is not this. Acid and fruit should still show, not only dye.
