Himalayan Pink

Spice

Himalayan Pink

B tier

Himalayan pink salt is rock salt mined mainly in Pakistan’s Punjab salt range—coloured by iron oxides, sold as fine, coarse, or lamp blocks. Flavour is straightforward sodium chloride with a mild mineral story; the pink is marketing as much as taste. Fine for cooking and grinders; large blocks for show. Not magically healthier than other salts by meaningful nutrition, but useful and attractive as a kitchen mineral salt.
