Kalibos is a pointed, heart-shaped red cabbage from Eastern European breeding—sweeter and more tender than many dense round reds, excellent raw and for lighter cooking. Beautiful conical purple heads. Flavour is delicate-sweet with less harshness. Shred raw for premium slaws; quick braise to keep snap. A chef favourite among red cabbages. Not a long-storage cannonball type.
