Hungarian hot paprika (erős) brings real heat to the same fruity pepper base as the sweet styles. It is still paprika—not cayenne dust—so flavour stays pepper-sweet under the burn. Used in csabai-style sausages and for diners who want goulash with a kick. Blend with sweet paprika to tune heat without losing colour. Bloom carefully; burnt hot paprika is harsh twice over.
