Alaska

Herb

Alaska

B tier

Alaska nasturtiums have marbled cream-and-green variegated leaves with standard spurred flowers in mixed warm colours. The foliage is the show; pepper flavour remains true nasturtium in leaf and bloom. Use variegated leaves as edible saucers under hors d’oeuvres; flowers as usual. Variegation is strongest in cool weather and good light.
