White mulberry pekmez is made from pale Morus alba fruit: gold to amber, honeyed, less ink, a different fruit from the black-mulberry jar. It can taste almost like a light grape pekmez. Do not expect purple. The tree is common; good syrup is not. Honeyed and mild on yogurt.
