Herb
Water Mint
C tier
Water mint grows in wet soils and is a parent of peppermint—strong wild mint character, occasionally foraged where unpolluted, not a standard market bunch. Only harvest from clean waterways. Flavour is harsher than garden spearmint. Better appreciated as ecology and breeding parent than salad herb.
