Herb
Scottish Lovage
A tier
Scottish lovage is Ligusticum scothicum—a coastal relative with celery-parsley leaf notes, milder and salt-spray adapted compared with garden Levisticum. Traditional Scottish and northern coastal uses include leaf as a green vegetable-herb. Not a perfect Maggi-plant substitute; softer and greener tasting. Forage only with secure ID on clean shores. Garden cultivation is possible in cool maritime climates.
