Lisbon

A tier

Lisbon lemon is a seedy, very acidic, smooth-skinned commercial lemon often hard to tell from Eureka in the bin—thorny trees, vigorous production, strong true-lemon bite. Juice yield is excellent. It shares grocery shelves as the other half of commodity lemon supply. Use interchangeably with Eureka for most recipes. Good for large-batch lemonade and preserving. Choose heavy fruit regardless of Lisbon vs Eureka label when unlabeled.
