Honey Jar

A tier

Honey Jar is a small, round, extremely sweet jujube—bite-sized fruit with thin skin and honeyed crisp flesh that disappears in a couple of chews. It is a kids’ and snacking favourite more than a drying workhorse, though it can dry into tiny sweet jewels. Crop can be heavy; fruit looks almost like large olives when green. Best eaten fresh by the handful when fully coloured. Perfect for school snacks and tasting flights next to larger Li. Pit is small relative to the sweet flesh.
