Condiment
Rose Harissa
A tier
Rose harissa adds dried rose to a usually milder paste: floral, often oil-rich, a London-deli favourite more than a Tunis street tube. Heat is gentler; perfume is the point. A smear on roast carrots or yogurt. Tunisian harissa is the hotter, caraway-forward leaf.

History
GB
British delis popularised rose harissa as a floral, milder harissa.
Rose harissa became a home-cook "harissa" of magazine recipes.
Tunisian cooks still reached for classic; rose stayed the floral export.
