Oro Blanco is a pomelo–grapefruit hybrid with thick white pith, pale flesh, and notably low bitterness—sweet, mild, and large. Marketed as a friendly “sweet grapefruit” experience. Peel is thick; yield of flesh per fruit is lower, but pleasure per segment is high for bitterness-avoiders. Serve supremed; excellent for people who reject classic grapefruit bite. Less interesting for bittersweet cocktail reduction. Winter specialty citrus.
