Thompson Seedless
A tier
Thompson Seedless is the pale green-white seedless table and raisin grape that dominates bulk fresh packs and California sultana-style drying. Berries are oval, thin-skinned, mildly sweet, and crisp when well grown; flavour is clean rather than muscat-perfumed. It is also the backbone of many neutral white concentrates and raisins. Serve as everyday snacking fruit, in fruit salads, and as a cooked element in savoury tagines or chicken dishes where mild sweetness helps. Dries into classic light raisins. Chill briefly before service for snap, but long cold storage can dull aroma.
