Food Premix Grade
S tier
Food-premix-grade folic acid is diluted or selected for even blending into a mill premix—sometimes on a starch carrier—so a 1% error does not become a legal miss. Triturations (1% or 10%) exist because nobody can weigh 1.4 g neatly across a tonne of flour by eye. It is still folic acid. Ask for overage, for light-protective packing, and for compatibility with iron and ascorbate in the same premix. The yellow dust should not speckle a white flour if the grind is right.
