Premix Grade
A tier
Premix-grade ferrous sulfate is specified for blending into a vitamin-mineral premix: tight particle size so it does not separate, declared assay, and compatibility notes with ascorbate and other redox neighbours. The miller buys a premix, not a drum of green crystal. It may be dried, encapsulated, or both. The variety name is about the job—uniformity in a 0.1% addition—not about a different iron chemistry. Ask for a certificate that matches the national fortification rule you are trying to hit.
