Call duck eggs are very small, white to blue-green depending on line, with a high yolk ratio in a miniature duck package. Flavour is rich for size—charming soft-boiled or as garnish—but yield is tiny compared with Campbell or Pekin eggs. Ornamental keepers are the main source. Fun for tasting menus that want a duck-egg note without a large portion.
