Organic date syrup is certified-farm dates extracted and concentrated without a conventional pesticide file. Texture should still be thick and date-like. Organic is not a flavour grade—poor organic syrup can still be thin and caramel-only. Buy it for the supply chain. Taste it for dates. Some organic bottles are excellent silan; some are baking syrup.
