Spray-Dried Beadlet
S tier
Spray-dried D3 beadlets trap the oil-soluble vitamin in a starch or gum matrix so a dry cereal, a tablet, or a flour premix can be dosed evenly. The beadlet is the reason a cornflake can claim vitamin D. Cross-section a good beadlet and you see a sealed globe, not a greasy stain. They shear and melt if you abuse them in a hot, wet mixer. Ask for overage data—D3 dies in process. Colour can be creamy or coated brown for camouflage in a cereal. This is the dry-food form, not a dropper.
