Oyster Shell Calcium
A tier
Oyster-shell calcium is ground, cleaned shell—still calcium carbonate, but with a marine origin story and traces that a limestone does not have. It appears in supplements and in some "natural" fortification. Allergen and heavy-metal controls matter; shells live in the sea. It is not vegetarian in the minds of many buyers, and it is not a flavour. A grey, fishy powder was badly washed. Use PCC if you want a silent, vegan-friendly calcium line. Use oyster shell when the brief is marine or traditional.
