Spreadable

Spreadable butter is formulated or blended to stay soft from the fridge—often with oil or process changes. Convenience for toast; flavour and baking performance differ from pure cold butter sticks. Fine for breakfast bread. Avoid in laminated pastry that needs solid butter sheets. Read labels for oil blends if you want pure butter.
