Herb
Purple Ruffles
C tier
Purple Ruffles basil is an ornamental ruffled-leaf purple basil with milder flavour than Genovese—used for colour in salads and garnishes more than serious pesto. Pretty on tomato plates; flavour is secondary. Heat still bruises leaves. Not a Thai or holy basil substitute.
