Lady Finger

Fruit

Lady Finger

A tier

Lady Finger (including Sucrier and similar AA small bananas) produces thin, short fingers with thin peels, honey-sweet flesh, and a floral perfume stronger than Cavendish. Fruit yellows and spots quickly; texture is soft and almost creamy-custard when fully ripe. Bunches look delicate next to industrial Cavendish hands. Premium snack banana in Australia, Southeast Asia, and specialty Western shops. Excellent out of hand and in fruit platters; less ideal for long green shipping. Kids and flavour-chasers often prefer them once they try a ripe one.
