Korean Yuzu

Fruit

Korean Yuzu

A tier

Korean yuzu (yuja) is central to yuja-cheong honey-citron tea preserves and Korean winter flavour—same species character with local cultivar and processing traditions. Fruit is aromatic and seedy; much volume becomes sweet tea base rather than fresh juice only. Make or use yuja-cheong; juice and zest in Korean and fusion dressings. Excellent sweet-preserved form on toast and in tea. Distinct cultural path from Japanese ponzu focus.
