French Style
French-style yoghurt (yaourt) often means whole-milk set yoghurt in glass pots—mild, clean, and spooned in neat curds—or smooth brassé stirred styles. Sugar may be separate; fruit versions exist, but nature (plain) in a glass pot is the cultural reference. Texture is softer than Greek, more delicate than some industrial stirred cups. Serve cold from the pot, optionally with jam or honey on the side. Use plain French-style in baking and sauces where a gentle tang is preferred. Glass-pot set yoghurts can be inverted for a classic presentation if the gel holds.
