Batter
- Heat the oven to 180°C (160°C fan). Line a 20 cm square tin. Melt butter; whisk in cocoa and sugar until glossy.
- Beat in eggs and salt. Fold in flour until just combined — do not overmix.
Bake
- Pour into the tin and level. Bake 22–28 minutes until the top is set and a skewer has a few moist crumbs (not wet batter).
- Cool completely in the tin before cutting into squares.

Storage
Airtight up to 4 days. Freeze well wrapped for 1 month.
