Real
B tier
Real is a registered quinoa cultivar known in European and research growing trials—adapted beyond the Andes for longer days, with pale seeds suited to northern experimental and commercial fields. Flavour cooks like mild white quinoa when processed properly. Important as a breeding and production name more than a grocery sticker. Use as ivory/white quinoa culinarily. Growers choose Real for day-length and yield packages in non-Andean latitudes. Rinse commercial seed products as usual. Compared with generic market options, Real rewards a little attention to timing, especially for Salad, where Pale Seed matters.

Non-Andean commercial quinoa often traced to Real and sister cultivars.
Real remained a reference adapted cultivar in temperate quinoa production.
