Schinus terebinthifolia is Brazilian pepper—another pink peppercorn source with similar sweet-resin berries, sometimes slightly more turpentine-edged than molle. Invasive in parts of Florida and elsewhere; culinary dried berries are still widely sold. Use like other pink peppercorns for colour and mild spice. Sensitive individuals with cashew/mango allergies should be cautious with Schinus species. Quality varies; smell before bulk buying.
