Nuts
Thomas
S tier
Thomas is a classic improved black walnut cultivar selected for crackable shells and dependable kernel percentage compared with many wild trees. Meats still taste bold and resinous—true Juglans nigra, not Persian walnut mildness—so bakers use it where that wild note is wanted. Named stock helps commercial crackers and orchardists repeat size and yield. Freeze kernels; oil quality still rules shelf life. Ask for harvest year—stale Thomas is still stale. Label as tree nut.
