Dairy
Whole Milk
Whole-milk yoghurt is labelled from milk that has not been skimmed to low-fat levels—essentially the natural fat content of standardised whole milk in the producing country. In practice it overlaps with full-fat retail language; “whole milk” is common on US and UK pots emphasising unreduced dairy. Choose whole-milk yoghurt for children’s breakfasts, marinades, and any recipe written before the low-fat era. Texture is softer and more aromatic than non-fat gels. Strain for Greek-like body without starting from skim powder-thickened bases.
