Navarra Rosé
Navarra rosé (rosado) is one of Spain’s classic pinks—often Grenache-led, dry, and medium pink with strawberry, cherry, and fresh acid from the Ebro basin north of Rioja. Traditional saignée and short maceration styles built a reputation for food-friendly rosado long before global Provence mania. Modern bottles range from pale to classic deeper Spanish pink. Use Navarra rosado for vegetable stews, grilled fish, and chorizo-light dishes; deglaze pans for quick berry-herb sauces. It is a reliable cooking wine when dry—bright enough for seafood, sturdy enough for mild meats. Avoid semi-sweet commercial pinks sold under vague labels; seek DO Navarra dry rosado.
