Garnacha Rosé
Garnacha rosé takes brief skin contact from Grenache/Garnacha to yield strawberry, watermelon, and white-pepper aromas in a dry or lightly fruity pink wine with soft tannin and warm-climate generosity. Spanish rosados and French rosés from Garnacha often show more fruit flesh than ultra-pale Provence blends while remaining food-friendly. Colour ranges from onion-skin to deeper pink depending on maceration. Use Garnacha rosé for pan sauces with prawns, grilled vegetables, and mild pork; the berry fruit supports paprika and tomato without heavy tannin. Reduce gently—high-alcohol warm-site bottles concentrate heat if boiled hard. Excellent chilled for cooking liquid in summer vegetable stews.

History
Spanish rosado traditions used Garnacha for pink table wines across Aragón and neighbouring regions.
