Cadenza

Cadenza

C tier

Cadenza is a British spring wheat variety with Group 2 milling quality, used for breadmaking blends and as a flexible spring option where winter wheat is unsuitable. It offers good grain quality and has been widely grown and studied in UK trials and research, including as a genetic and experimental background. Flour is suited to bread and general milling rather than soft biscuit grades, with protein and gluten strength typical of UK Group 2. Millers blend Cadenza-type spring wheat with winter Group 1 grists to balance strength, colour, and supply.
