Lucullus

Vegetable

Lucullus

A tier

Lucullus is a pale yellow-green stemmed chard with broad, tender, heavily savoyed leaves—old European type named for the Roman gourmet. Mild flavour and fine texture when young. Less flashy than rainbow, excellent eating quality. Sauté as a refined green; stems cook creamy. A heritage pale chard for flavour-first growers. Continuous picking works well.
