Fruit
Annona muricata
S tier
Annona muricata is soursop (guanábana)—a large green, soft-spined tropical Annona with white, fibrous-creamy flesh tasting of strawberry-pineapple-cream with bright acidity. Large black seeds are toxic/inedible and must be discarded. Juice and frozen pulp dominate global trade more than perfect whole fruit far from farms. Scoop ripe soft fruit; blend and strain seeds for juice, ice cream, and refrescos. Fresh whole fruit bruises easily. Never promote seeds or concentrated leaf medical myths carelessly—stick to culinary flesh. Fully soft green-yellowish fruit is ready; hard fruit is not.
