Herb
Tricolor Sage
C tier
Tricolor sage shows cream, purple, and green variegation on each leaf—striking in pots, milder and less productive for bulk cooking than solid grey types. Young leaves still taste of sage. Best as a garnish and light seasoning; keep Berggarten or common sage for stuffing by the handful. Protect from harsh winter in cold climates.
