Herb
Berggarten
A tier
Berggarten is a compact, wide-leaf German culinary sage with dense grey foliage and excellent flavour—less rangy than some officinalis, more leaf mass in a tight mound. A favourite of serious herb gardeners and chefs. Leaves hold for drying and frying. Cold-hardier performance in many climates than leggy seed-strain sage. The modern reference broad culinary sage plant for many nurseries.
