Vegetable
Victoria
S tier
Victoria is a classic large-stalked garden rhubarb with greenish to pink-blushed petioles and reliable heavy yields—the workhorse of British and American allotments. Flavour is full tart rather than candy-red mild. Excellent for bulk crumbles and jam. Pull stalks when thick; leave some for plant strength. Greenish colour does not mean underripe—Victoria is often less red than Champagne types. The standard named culinary rhubarb.
